What if feeling like shit didn’t feel so shitty?

So here you are.

Sitting on the couch, walking down the street, riding your bike, feeling like shit.

Now what do we do when that happens?

We try to get rid of it.

We run, we complain, we fight, we panic.

We look for quick solutions and empowering videos and inspirational quotes, things we can do RIGHT NOW to make it go away.

But what if there was no obligation to feel bad when you feel like shit?

What if you can feel like shit, and be okay with it?

What if all this resistance is the real problem, not the shitty feeling itself?

Now these are not rhetorical questions.

It’s all true.

Feeling like shit is not personal, and it’s not forever.

It’s just a feeling in the moment, caused by a story about life.

That’s it.

Not bad, right?
