Here’s a tip for coaches and other solopreneurs:

If you would ultimately love to work with people who love who you are and what you bring, why would you hide it from them?

Why play the safe game and post safe stuff and try to please whoever wants to feel pleased and her cat?

Trying to speak to everybody mostly ends in reaching no one.

It’s boring.

There is SO much bloody average stuff out there, SO much anxious copy and SO many lukewarm promises and obvious bullshit.

It’s all so… meh.

And I get it, I get it, I do.

Especially in the beginning, it will probably fuck you up.

Getting out there, opening the doors, finding the words.

Searching, trying, testing, shivering, staring at the blank page forever.

Afraid to scare away the one client that might be interested in working with you.

Better safe than sorry.

It’s just that playing the average game will not get you anywhere.

Safe is a gift card for your spouse.

And I get it, I really do.

Maybe you don’t even know what makes you, you.

But if you perform the middle-of-the-road show, you will definitely not get what you really want:

The people who love who you are and what you bring.

So give them nothing less.
