It’s extremely helpful to get to know your moods.

It means the difference between automatically falling for them and being swallowed by them, or becoming aware of what’s going on and keep a bit of distance.

When I say ‘moods’ I guess I mean every single emotional situation we can find ourselves in.

Not just depression or anger or sadness, but also self-righteousness, disappointment, elation, confusion, and ‘just not feeling very well’.

I call them moods because they are temporary, they don’t define or underpin us, and they have a real impact on how we live our lives.

Moods are all the elements of an experience, seamlessly integrated as one.

We have them all the time.

When I didn’t feel this distinct but subtle difference between the gazillion fleeting emotional circumstances and the realization they were going on, I stumbled from one mood to the other.

I was a total mood victim, and of course I blamed the world and the people in the world, most of the time, which made me feel utterly helpless and hopeless.

But this relationship with how life feels to me and impacts me and burdens me changed when I started to directly recognize the only thing that never changes.

Consciousness.

Consciousness without the content and the distraction and the diversion.

Consciousness as the one and only thing that is before, during and after each and every one of our human experiences.

And even though it might sound totally unsexy and extremely unspectacular, it is the gamechanger.

The Big Motherfucker.

I think that we all know consciousness in one of its more mundane, practical, and human forms.

Happiness.

Joy.

Creativity.

Flow.

Patience.

Compassion.

Or, a really nice little one:

Love.

Because of this rich, divine versatility, the ONLY goal I have in coaching is to help people directly realize their true nature, and acknowledge that connection, literally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Living straight from your grounding, your impersonal Self or this intuitive guidance is everything you really need for everything else.

I have seen over and over again that the rest is up for grabs.

And I mean ALL of it.

From there you can become whatever you want, live anywhere, aim for the stars or just be satisfied with the soil you live on.

You can let go of anxiety and stress, and see through your cravings and depression.

Being truly, consciously grounded means having an unwavering sense that the universe has your back.

A real sense.

Not a wish, not something you have to tell yourself all day long, not a belief.

You just know.

And when that happens, you’ll find that the relationship with your moods changes dramatically, and the habitual victimhood gently dissolves.

I wish that for you, today.
